Nigeria: EFCC Accuses Atuche of Using Bank Funds to Pay Church Tithe

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday accused a former managing director of Bank PHB, Mr Francis Atuche of using depositors' money to pay N45 million tithe.

Lead prosecution counsel, Kemi Pinheiro, SAN, made the accusation while leading key witness, Mr Solomon Abolaji Ogunsola, a former staff of PHB Mortgages Limited, in evidence, at the resumed hearing of the case before Justice Lateefa Okunnu of a Lagos High Court sitting Ikeja, Lagos.
