Nigeria: 'Don't Tolerate Maltreatment of Nigerians'

Katsina — Former President of the Nigeria Court of Appeal, retired Justice Umar Abdullahi yesterday called on the federal government to do everything possible to defend the integrity of its citizens, saying the recent maltreatment meted to Nigerian intending pilgrims is unacceptable.

Abdullahi who is the Katsina state's Amirul hajj this year said, "Nigerian government should not fold its arms watching its citizens being maltreated by the authorities of Saudi Arabia. If not for Islam what will take us to Saudi Arabia?" he asked rhetorically.
