Angola: Ten People Injured in Train Collision

Lubango — At least ten people were injured, including one serious conditions, following a Saturday collision between a Commercial train from Kuvango, southern Huila province, to Menongue (south-east Kuando Kubango) and another one that was immobilized at railway, ANGOP has learnt

The incident happened at 12:00 am about 356 kilometres east off Lubango city, the capital of Huila province. The wounded were rushed to the municipal hospital of Kuvango for assistance. The official of marketing office of Moçâmedes railway (CFM), Jacob Hipólito, has confirmed the accident, but he would not add further details. He promised to do so as soon as he reaches the site of accident.
