Majority of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporations (NNPC)'s filling stations are far below safety standards, the General Manager in charge of Health Safety and Environment (HSE) of the Corporation, Engineer Rabiu Suleiman has said.
Speaking at HSE workshop organised for the filling station owners by the NNPC's Group HSE Division in Abuja, Suleiman said audits report of the stations conducted by the Corporation revealed that safety compliance of all the major filling stations is totally below standard.
