In an effect to prevent the spread of cholera and promote environmental hygiene in the northern district town of Kambia, the Community Action for the Welfare of Children (CAWeC) - a non-governmental organization - has donated a consignment of disinfectants to the referral governmental hospital in Kambia.
The package, which was secured from UNICEF, is a total of 8 cartons comprising of 6 gallons each. It was officially handed over to the District Health Management Team by the Director of CAWeC, Abdulai Bobson Sankoh.
