Egypt: Interior Minister Vows to Strike With Iron Fist Security Violators

Interior minister vowed on Monday 1/10/2012 to strike with an iron fist whoever tries to terrify citizens, break the law, block roads, disrupt peoples' interests or jeopardize the country's stability and security.

There will be no leniency with those violators, Ahmed Gamal al-Din said in a meeting with a number of central security soldiers and officers of Gharbiya, Menouifya and Kafr el-Sheikh at the headquarters of Gharbiya security directorate.

The minister lauded efforts exerted by police forces over the past period, calling on them to continue hard work so that order will be fully restored across the nation.

He called for increasing patrols and ambushes, both permanent and mobile ones, at all desert and agricultural roads to arrest car robbers and drug dealers.
