Nigeria: Theft - Prosecution Witness Absolves Atuche of Complicity

A prosecution witness in the on-going trial of the former Managing Director of the defunct Bank PHB, Francis Atuche at a Lagos High Court, Ikeja has said the embattled ex-bank chief did nothing illegal in the sales of over 630 million units of shares of Afribank Plc held by the bank in trust for Cavernton Helicopters.

The testimony of Mr. Benedic Omonuah contradicted the charge of the N4.2 billion theft preferred against Atuche by the EFCC.
