TM Supermarkets has embarked on a campaign to disseminate information on cancer as well as raising money for treatment and care of the patients. Officially launched a fortnight ago, the campaign dubbed: "TM cancer awareness campaign" would involve staff from the retail shop conducting a variety of activities with particular attention paid to cervical cancer and pooling funds towards refurbishment of Tariro Home for Cancer Patients.
Tariro Home for Cancer Patients is housed at Parirenyatwa Hospital and is meant to accommodate patients from out of Harare who undergo treatment at the referral centre.
