THE Otavi Town Council has temporarily suspended the operations of Shared Petroleum's fuel depot at the town. The decision was taken ensure that the company complies with the town's health and safety regulations, as well as the Petroleum Products and Energy Act.
Shared Petroleum's Otavi depot is operating from two open erven, with no walls or even a fence surrounding the tank and pump.
