The City of Cape Town successfully wooed various stakeholders, including taxi operators, to its integrated public transport system two weeks ahead of its scheduled launch of a public transport authority.
At a workshop at the City Hall today the city indicated that part of the core of the plan leading to 2018 was to see more people move away from private transport toward using a seamless, affordable and quality transport system that worked on a single ticket system.
