Nigeria: NNPC Urges Nigerians to Use Cooking Gas

Lagos — The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has implored Nigerians to embrace Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as domestic fuel for cooking.

Group Managing Director of the corporation, Engr. Andrew Yakubu, who stated this during a Health, Safety and Environment workshop for its retail operators in Abuja, said that LPG is a safer and cleaner fuel for cooking that could mitigate the depletion of forests in the country.
