Windhoek — The annual production of Namibia's fresh water fish is looking good with an estimated 2 000 tonnes from the Caprivi Region alone.
The Kavango Region produced between 800 and 1 000 tonnes, while production from the Cuvelai system was about 250 tonnes. The figures are contained in the 2010/11 annual report of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, which was tabled by Minister Bernhard Esau in the National Assembly yesterday.
