Gambia, Cote d'Ivoire Sign Joint Commission Agreement

The government of The Gambia Thursday signed an agreement for Joint Commission with the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire at the premises of the Permanent Mission of Cote d'Ivoire to the United Nations.

The signing of the Joint Commission heralds a renewed commitment from both countries to further strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation in key sectors like tourism, agriculture, security, education, Science, Technology and energy among others. The Joint Commission is also designed to serve as a platform for political dialogue on regional, sub-regional and global issues of mutual concern.
