Gambia: Burama Dibba's Prosecution Was an Executive Directive - Ex-IGP Badjie Tells Court

Ensa Badjie, the former Inspector General of Police on Tuesday told the Banjul Magistrates' Court presided over by Principal Magistrate Taiwo Ade Alagbe that Burama Dibba's prosecution was an executive directive.

He made this revelation while continuing his defence testimony at the said court. Badjie said that it was the Minister of Interior Ousman Sonko who informed him that two officers from the Office of the President arrested Burama Dibba and it was an executive directive for him (Dibba) to be prosecuted.
