Tension is steadily surging in Kakata, Margibi County in the wake of non-violent street protests embarked upon by youths in demand of stipends allegedly owed them by the county authority.
As the per the tension which is boiling in the city, our reporter said normal administrative activities came to a standstill on Monday, October 1, 2012 as the offices of both the superintendent and city mayor were barricaded by protesting vacation job students in demand of their stipend owed them by the county administration.
