Liberia: Deepened Saga - As Human Rights Group Takes Govt to Court Over New Defense Ministry Demolition

The saga surrounding the demolition by the Liberian Government of the new Defense Minsitry Complex is by far getting deeper with the taking to court of the government by the Center for Protection of Human Rights, through its Executive Director, Counselor T. Dempster Brown, and the Independent Civil and Human Rights, represented by its Chief Executive officer, CEO J. Melvin Page.

The two human rights institutions are said to have filed in a writ of prohibition to the Supreme Court of Liberia against the Government of Liberia over plans to destroy a multi-million Israeli built bullet proof New Ministry of National Defense located in Congo Town.
