East Africa: School Promise to Rule Girls Football Next Year

ST. Teresa's Tartar Girls School, who were the runners up in national schools girls' football are promising to win the title come next year. The West Pokot-based have for a second year running featured prominently in the national championships after ruling the provincial events.

This year, they were third in the East African Schools Championships in Burundi and runners-up in Mbarara, Uganda last year. Their principal, Priscilla Kamau, said the girls are motivated to lift the regional title next year in South Sudan.
