Nigeria: Eleven Varsity Students Docked Over Illegal Assembly, Vandalism

Eleven students of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, were on Wednesday arraigned at an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates' Court for illegal assembly and rioting. The accused were also said to have destroyed the institution's property on Sept. 28.

The prosecutor, Cpl. Ebenezer Ewuola, told the court that the students conspired to destroy louvres at the institution's Odua Auditorium and the louvres of the University Health Centre building.
