Ghana: Police Get Tough On Robbers

Kumasi — The police in Kumasi have arrested a 20-year-old car snatcher, Seidu Sani, a resident of Buokrom in Kumasi, following the close monitoring of his activities by a Good Samaritan.

The Regional Police Commander, DCOP Augustine Gyenin, indicated that the suspect had been hiring taxis to the Akate farms area near Duase, and on reaching there, he would order the driver out of the car at gun point and rob him, before bolting away with the car.
