South Africa: Seven Trucks Set Alight in Cape Town During Satawu Strike

Two more trucks were set alight in Cape Town yesterday bringing the total number of trucks set alight since the South African Trade and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) strike started on Monday last week to seven.

A number of trucks have also been stoned in the ten days of the strike, with one truck overturning on the N2 near the airport on Tuesday after being stoned, disrupting traffic for about three hours.
