Angola: Over 600 New Cases of HIV/Aids Reported in Cabinda

Cabinda — At least 651 new cases of HIV / AIDS were recorded during the first half of this year in northern province of Cabinda, said Wednesday the head of the local public health, Razão Simão.

The official noted that the figure is the result of the 24,007 people tested during the period in respect, which culminated with the notification of 651 positive cases.

He stressed that the positive cases reported include 419 women, 216 men and 16 children aged between 18 months and 14 years.
