"The move aims at putting an end to the power cuts that we witnessed during current summer," the minister said during a meeting of the Supreme Council of Energy that was chaired by Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and attended by 11 ministers.

Balbaa added that all documents concerning the establishment of an Egyptian nuclear plant are ready for international offering but the executive authorities are waiting for the issuance of a political decree in this regard.
