As the October 10 deadline for the Federal Government to seek for the review of the 2002 verdict of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the disputed Bakassi Peninsula approaches, new facts have emerged over which Nigeria can anchor its grounds of appeal before the ICJ.
President Goodluck Jonathan had bowed to pressure from the Senate and other stakeholders and setup a committee to address the issue of the review of the ICJ ruling that ceded Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroun.
