Kenya: Aladwa Tells Off Anti-Raila Alliance

Nairobi mayor George Aladwa has maintained that ODM will emerge victorious in next year's general election in spite of efforts by rivals to block Prime Minister Raila Odinga from ascending to the presidency.

Aladwa said talks of alliances by ODM rivals lack a clear agenda and vision for Kenya while ODM has a manifesto that clearly outlines the agenda to transform the country.

"They only want to unite not because they believe in a common ideology but because they want to stop Raila and ODM from taking over," the mayor added.

Aladwa, was speaking in his office in Nairobi on Saturday where he met some ODM members. The mayor said ODM is rejuvenated and revamped.
