El-Fasher — North Darfur's Governor, Osman Yusuf Kibir, admitted the spread of weapons to civilians during a press conference held in El-Fasher on Saturday October 6 . 'There is not one house free of weapons', he added.

Kibir disclosed that the recent incidents in Hashaba area, happened as the area is not under government control.

He renewed the charges against government officials and citizens suspected of being responsible for carrying out the incidents in Alwaha, Kuma and Mellit.

The Governor also announced that the reconciliation conference, between the Berti and Zayadiya tribes in Mellit, has been postponed from October to November 5.
