Over 54,000 out of 85,000 Nigerian intending pilgrims have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia for this year's hajj exercise. The statistics was contained in the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria's table of daily airlifts to Saudi Arabia.
About 30,997 pilgrims are expected to be airlifted before the October 20 deadline. However, two major airlines in the operations, Max and Kabo airlines; have promised to complete the airlift on schedule.
