Egypt Ambassador to Libya Holds Contacts to Evacuate Egyptians From Wadi Al-Mardum


The Egyptian Embassy in Tripoli managed over the past few days and until now to secure the evacuation of the rest of the trapped Egyptians, along with other citizens from various nationalities, from Wadi al-Mardum and Bani Walid, which witness clashes between Libyan tribes, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Amr Roshdi.

Egypt's Ambassador to Libya Hesham Abdel-Wahab held contacts with the Libyan authorities in this regard and he contacted also with the Libyan army's chief of operations in Zliten to get acquainted with the roads leading to Wadi al-Mardum in order to evacuate the rest of the Egyptians there, Roshdi added.
