Tanzania: City Clarifies On Canadian Investments Protection

THE government has clarified that it is yet to sign the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements (FIPPAs) with Canada, pending conclusion of legal reviews between the two countries.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs in Dar es salaam, said President Jakaya Kikwete did not sign any agreement during his state visit to Canada last week.
