Algeria Identifies Ouargla Suicide Bomber

Algerian security services identified through DNA samples the suicide bomber who blew himself up at the entrance of the Algerian National Gendarmerie regional command centre in downtown Ouargla at the end of June, El Watan reported on Tuesday (October 9th).

Bomber Abdessamia Bouzidi, wanted in Algeria, had joined terrorists in northern Mali. On June 30th, al-Qaeda splinter group Movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) claimed responsibility for the attack.
