Nigeria: 'Resolution of Banking Crisis Not a Guarantee Against Another Crisis'

The Deputy Governor, Financial System Stability, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr. Chiedu K. Moghalu, Wednesday warned directors of banks and other financial institutions to continue to discharge their duties responsibly, saying that the resolution of the banking crisis was not a guarantee against another crisis in future.

Moghalu gave this advice in a paper titled: 'Update on the Financial Services Sector Reforms and the Outlook for the Future,' presented at the 2012 edition of the annual continuous education programme for director of financial institutions held in Lagos.
