Sierra Leone: Paul School for the Blind Gets Infrastructure Boost

Deputy Director of Education in Bo District, John Amara Swaray, has officially commissioned a dining hall, kitchen, store, teachers' quarter and a male and female dormitory constructed for pupils of the Paul School for the Blind at Baiima Road in Bo. The project was funded by USAID, UKA and implemented by Helen Keller International.

Officially commissioning the project, Swaray lauded the initiative behind the construction of the facilities as it is in line with human development. He said the buildings will in no doubt create an ideal learning environment for pupils of the school, more so as the learning atmosphere was not conducive prior to the construction of the buildings.
