Lagos — Lucky man, Abubakar Tata Usman, one of the winners of the star prize of a Hyundai Verna car in the Unity Bank Savings Promo has taken possession of his car and described the bank is a promise keeping institution.

Usman, resident in Hadejia, Jigawa State, emerged alongside a female customer of the bank, Mary Iruafemi at the second national draw of the Promo held in Lagos last month. Both were not at the venue to receive their prizes.

He received the car keys and documents on Tuesday (9/10/12) in Hadejia in a brief ceremony at which the Executive Director, North West of Unity Bank Plc, Ismaila Galadanci made the presentations.

Elated Usman who had arrived the venue with large number of friends and well wishers, said as a customer of the bank he was not expecting to win anything but was just conducting his normal transactions.

He pledged to remain a customer of the Unity bank and will work hard to recruit more customers who might also have the opportunity of getting a gift.

In a remark earlier before the hand-over, the bank's Executive Director in charge of North West, Ismaila Galadanci restated the bank's commitment to stand by its customers and to partner with all the states in the region for rapid economic development.

The second star prize winner who is based in Edo State will be presented her car on in Benin, Edo state.
