Luanda — The Ministry of Industry highlighted in a press release sent Saturday to Angop here the importance of international standards as powerful tool to help the world organisations capitalise their potentialities in the global market.
According to the document, released on account of the celebrations of the World Standards Day, to be marked on Sunday on 14October, the world standards such as International Electro technical Commission (IEC), International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) are crucial for the increase of productivity.
"This issue is in the vanguard of global challenges, sustainability and financial uncertainty, meaning that the organisations are challenges aimed at achieving better results with less waste", reads the document.
The document also states that the industries and more efficient business processes, facilitated by standards, upgrade the companies to compete worldwide and produce more rapidly for more market at a lower price.
