Egypt: Country, Turkey Agreed to Expand Free Trade Agreement - Minister

Industry and Foreign Trade Minister Hatem Saleh said on Friday 12/10/2012 that Egypt and Turkey agreed to expand the free trade agreement signed between the two countries, including laying down a timetable to apply customs exemption on agricultural commodities and finished products.

The minister pointed out that work groups of technicians in both sides will start negotiations on this score.

Minister Saleh made the remarks during a session of talks with Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Caglayan on the sidelines of a Turkish conference held in Istanbul, Turkey.
