Angola: Geosol, Ferrangol Conduct Prospecting

Luanda — The Geosol firm is conducting geological research around the whole country aiming at discovering localities helping to expose and optimise industrial plants, said geologist Dalmo Pereira.

The expert was speaking during a lecture on Mining Research and Methods of Exposition of Analysis in Angola, under the 4th edition of the International Mining Fair (FIMA), taking place since October 11 until Sunday (October 14).

According to him, the mining prospecting comprise geochemical, environmental, commercial, metallurgical, mineralogical, analysis and physical preparation.

He also said that these studies aim at assessing the mineral potential that is commercially viable.
