The director of administration at New Nut Company has spoken of his institution's desire to embark on quality groundnut seeds production in The Gambia.
Momodou S Samateh was speaking during an interview with reporters Friday at State House shortly after meeting the vice president and minister of Women's Affairs, Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy, at her office. He explained that they are currently discussing with the government to help them with land and security so that they can import their expertise from South Africa, to come and train Gambian farmers on the new techniques of nuts production.
