Western Sahara: Mexico Reaffirms 'Firm Attachment' to Saharawi People's Right to Self-Determination

New York — The Delegation of Mexico to the United Nations reiterated Thursday "firm attachment" to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, during debate of the UN Fourth Committee on the issues of decolonization.

Mexico supports the efforts to find a just and lasting solution to the conflict of Western Sahara in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the General Assembly and the Security Council, said the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations Mr. Rodrigo Pintado.
