Western Sahara: President Wishes Quick Recovery for Mauritanian Counterpart Following Painful Accident

Bir Lehlou — The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, has sent a letter to His Excellency Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, President of Mauritania, in which he felicitated him for safety from painful accident on Saturday, wishing him speedy recovery.

"We have learned with great joy the good news of your salvation from a tragic accident, where you were shot yesterday evening by mistake," wrote the President Mohamed Abdelaziz, in a telegram sent to the Mauritanian President.

"Mr. President, whilst we express our warmest fraternal congratulations to you and to the brotherly people of Mauritania as a whole for your safety, we honestly wish you speedy recovery and return, as soon as possible, to carry on your noble tasks," said Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz.
