Liberia: UL Expels Two Students, Suspends Seven Others, But...

The two Committees set-up by the administration of the University of Liberia (UL) to investigate the July 2012 violence on the campus during the students' political elections have concluded their investigations and submitted recommendations for implementation.

Those listed for suspension for one year are Daniel Charles Standard Bearer, COSS; Benjamin Wheye, Vice Standard Bearer COSS; John Pangbe Chairperson STUDA; Leon Talery, Chairperson SIM; Benjamin Myers Asst. Secretary General/Propaganda and Johnny White, while student Aloysius Nyanfor is suspended for one semester.
