Sudanese giants Al-Merreikh and Al-Hilal will renewed their rivalry in another derby meeting this weekend at the first's Stadium in Omdurman city during match day 6 of the 2012 Orange CAF Confederation Cup group A.According to the visitors' French-born coach Diego Garzitto in an interview with Cafonline.com , he prefers to finish top of the group in-order to avoid playing the semi-finals' second leg away.

How importance is the weekend match against Al-Merreikh ?

It is important because we want to win the derby and be the top Sudanese club side . Victory will see us top the group which will grant us the privilege of playing the first semi-final leg away and be at home for the second leg.

What is the situation with regards to team ahead of this match?

We have a full-fledged team with all players ready and available for selection. We have been in training for the past two weeks and look forward to participating in this math. We have no injuries or suspensions ahead of the match.

What do you think will be the difference between this derby match and the previous one in this competition?

I believe the two teams will play good football since both teams are not pestered by the worry of qualification for the semi-finals because both have already qualified. They will therefore focus on performance on Saturday and l am expecting a beautiful match from both sides .

Do you prefer to finish top or face the top side from group B?

This depends on the outcome of the coming match. I have no problems with facing the leader of the second group, but matters would be a little difficult if we came second in our group because will have to play the first leg at our home and the second leg away.

How are you going to approach the match?

We will first prepare the players well for this match. We will try to pressure Al-Merreikh to prevent them from scoring. We will try to score first goal to ensure that we push for victory and full points from thereon.

What is your goal in this competition?

All the remaining matches are extremely important for us. We have achieved the first objective of reaching the semi-finals; we will try to reach the final match and win the Cup.
