Angola: HIV/Aids Awareness Campaign Launched

Luanda — The oil firm Esso in partnership with the national institute of fight against HIV/AIDS (INLS) made on Thursday here launched the counseling and testing campaign on this illness in labour place, dubbed red ties, Angop has learnt.

During two days, the experts of this matters will be in the offices of Esso Angola to advise and test about 400 voluntary employees.

Esso Angola director, Stéphane e Mathieu, acknowledged the importance of the fight against HIV/AIDS and considered that the strategy intervention is fundamental to reduce the illness.

The strategy comprises informing the people on the prevention and treatment methods, promote changes of behaviour and supply advising and testing.
