Angola: Rains, Winds Leave 21 Families Homeless

Longonjo — At least 21 families have been left homeless in Lepi commune, Longonjo municipality, central Huambo province, following heavy rains and strong winds that hit the region recently, Angop learnt.

The rains that hit Lep commune on Wednesday also destroyed three classrooms, the office o the School 44, the Catholic church, as well as some branches of the communal market.

The deputy communal administrator, Aurélio Luciano, said many families have been sheltered in churches, calling for the support of Government partners.
