The assault case against World 3,000m Steeplechase Champion Ezekiel Kemboi has been withdrawn.

Eldoret Senior Principal Magistrate Francis Kyiambia terminated the case after the complainant Ann Njeri said she did not want the matter to proceed.

Njeri, who accused the athlete of assaulting her 2 months ago denied that she had been compensated by Kemboi in an out of court settlement to withdraw the case.
