24 October 2012

Rehoboth — All roads lead to Rehoboth for the second last horse racing championships of its annual eight-race series under the auspices of the Rehoboth Turf Club, on the 3rd of next month.

More than 60 thoroughbred horses from across the length and breadth of Namibia will be in action fighting it out for top honours and the lucrative cash prizes at stake. The hosts received a shot in the arm when local food retailers Woermann Brock under its brand, 'Woermann Brock We Care Handicap', came on board in the shape of a handsome sponsorship of N$10 000 towards the hosting of the one-day event. The race once again promises to be an exciting event with dozens of horses expected to compete in various categories.
