Egypt: Mursi Meets Elders Delegation

President Mohamed Morsi met on Wednesday 24/10/2012 with a delegation of the world Elders organization led by former US President Jimmy Carter.

Presidential Spokesman Yasser Ali highlighted the organization's role in achieving international peace.

Besides Carter, the delegation, which visits Egypt as part of a tour in the Middle East, groups former President of Finland Martti Ahtisaari, former Prime Minister of Norway Gro Harlem Brundtland and former President of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson.
