Kenya: Lake Summit Every Two Years

THE Lake Victoria Basin Commission will be hosting a scientific conference on the region after every two years, according to the executive secretary Canisius Kanangire.

Speaking while closing the Third Scientific Conference on Lake Victoria Basin in Entebbe Uganda, Kanangire said it will not be possible to host the conference annually.

"By hosting the conference after two years, it will give scientists time to prepare papers," said Kanangire. Kanangire asked scientists from all the East Africa Community member states to form multinational body or researchers in order to avoid duplication.
