Minister of Electricity and Energy Eng. Mahmoud Balbaa said in a statement on Friday 26/10/2012 that the sector is implementing plans on the short and long term to support and strengthen the power grid.
The Minister pointed out that the investments of current projects are estimated at EGP 80 billion to add new power generation capacities during the current five-year plan (2012/2017).
