Kenya: Pedestrians to Blame for High Road Accidents

President Mwai Kibaki assents to Traffic Bill to curb road carnage

Pedestrians are the main law breakers of the Highway Code according to matatu welfare association. Chairman Dickson Mbugua says although matatu's account to a huge number of accidents, many Kenyans do not observe traffic rules while crossing roads thus increasing deaths on the roads.
