Egypt: IMF Team Arrives in Egypt for Final Stage of $4.8 Billion Loan Negotiations

The mission of International Monetary Fund (IMF) will arrive to Egypt on 30/10/2012 to resume the negotiations about the $4.8 billion loan requested by Egyptian government for supporting the state's economy.

Minister of Planning Dr. Ashraf El Arabi said that the IMF mission would discuss with the Egyptian government the economic reform program it has prepared.

He added that in case the economic reform program was agreed on, the agreement would be finally concluded with the IMF by the end of this year.
