A routine border security meeting involving Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone is expected today in Quardu-Gboni District of Lofa County for information sharing on overall security issues concerning the three countries.
The meeting is planned to be held in Bolonguidou, one of the major entry points situated along Liberia's border with Guinea. Lofa County Supt George S. Dunor, disclosured news of the meeting to this paper in an exclusive interview yesterday, saying security chiefs from the three counties as well as top government officials from all sides will attend the gathering.
Mr. Dunor said officials of the superintendent's office, the local commander of the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization, the local commander of the Liberia National Police, youth leaders of the county and Mano River Union Women will represent Liberia.
The routine border security meeting involving the three countries aims at discussing cross border initiatives in line with concerns and reports received from security personnel.
